Learn the shape of it
Before anything else, it helps to know how the pieces fit together: workspace → project → work item, with cycles, modules, views and pages laid over the top.
The everyday basics
| Projects | Create a project, set its states and labels, manage its members and settings. |
| Work items | Tasks, bugs and stories: properties, sub-items, comments, attachments, relations. |
| Cycles | Run a sprint: add work, track the burn-down, transfer what didn't finish. |
| Modules | Group work into a deliverable that can span cycles. |
| Views & layouts | Board, list, spreadsheet, calendar, timeline. Filter, group, sort — and save it. |
| Pages | Specs, notes and knowledge, living next to the work. |
| Members & roles | Invite people. What admins, members and guests can each do. |
| Notifications | Your inbox, what triggers it, and how to stop the noise. |
Work faster
| Bulk operations | Change state, priority, assignees or labels on many items at once. |
| Issue templates | Pre-filled work items for anything you do repeatedly. |
| Project templates | Start a new project from a blueprint instead of a blank page. |
| Active cycles | Every running cycle across every project, in one view. |
| Keyboard shortcuts | Stop reaching for the mouse. |
