Review AI Assessment Reports
Read every part of a candidate's AI report and share it with your team.
When a candidate finishes an assessment, Coco HR produces a detailed AI report: an overall score, per-metric evaluation, proctoring evidence, and a per-question breakdown. This guide explains what each part means and how to act on it.
Open a report
Go to Applicants, open the candidate, and select View assessment (the report lives at /applicants/{id}/assessment). The report is available once the candidate has completed the assessment.
The top of the report
At the top you'll find:
- The assessment status, the job, and the time taken.
- A Re-assess button — re-runs the AI evaluation if you want a fresh scoring pass.
- A large AI Score tile — the candidate's overall result.
AI evaluation scoreboard
Below the score is the scoreboard: an average percentage plus per-metric bars.
- Theory (subjective) metrics: Completeness, Relevance, and Technical — each scored out of 5.
- Coding metrics (only if the assessment included coding): Technical Proficiency, Problem Understanding, and Solution Accuracy.
These bars show where a candidate is strong or weak, not just an overall number.
Anti-cheat / proctoring report
This section gives you evidence to review integrity. It includes:
- Device and environment: device, browser, OS.
- Network: WebRTC IP, average internet speed, WebRTC location, and whether a VPN was detected.
- Pass/warn signals: Microphone enabled, Camera enabled, Stayed in fullscreen, Stayed on tab (with a tab-switch count), and Cursor stayed in window.
You also get webcam and screen recordings (open in a popup player) and webcam snapshot thumbnails taken during the assessment.
Important: These signals and recordings are for human review. Coco HR does not run automated face detection or flag "multiple faces," and it does not produce a hire/no-hire recommendation. Use the evidence to make your own judgment.
Per-question breakdown
Each question shows:
- A type badge: MCQ, Coding, Video, Typing, or Subjective.
- A score percentage and a badge:
- Meets Standard — 60% or higher.
- Partial — some way there.
- Inadequate — below expectations.
- The question and the candidate's answer (rendered as Markdown).
- Inline audio playback of the candidate's spoken answer, when they answered by voice.
- An AI remark explaining the score.
- An expandable per-metric breakdown for that question.
Share the report
From the candidate's detail page you can:
- Download PDF report — save or attach the report elsewhere.
- Email report — send it to hiring managers. Add recipients as chips and an optional note. The email includes AI scores, snapshots, and recording links.
Re-assess a candidate
If you changed the template, suspect a scoring hiccup, or just want a second pass, select Re-assess at the top of the report. Coco HR re-runs the AI evaluation on the existing answers.
Tips
- Start with the scoreboard for a quick read, then use the per-question breakdown to confirm.
- Treat proctoring signals as prompts to review the recordings — a single tab-switch isn't automatically disqualifying.
- Use Email report to keep hiring managers in the loop without giving them a full account.
