Quickstart
This guide takes you from a fresh login to a sent email campaign. No prior CRM experience needed — just a mailbox you can send from.
1. Sign in
Go to crm.cocolevio.com and click Continue with Email, then enter your email and password. If your organization uses Microsoft, sign in with your Microsoft account via SSO instead. Public sign-up is disabled — if you don't have an account, ask your workspace admin to invite you.
2. Tour the sidebar
The left sidebar is home base. Alongside the core CRM objects (Companies, People, Opportunities, Tasks, Notes), you'll find the Coco CRM additions:
| Sidebar item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | KPI overview — campaigns sent, leads by source, recent activity |
| Email Campaigns | Create and send campaigns, view logs, connect sending accounts |
| Leads Group | Lead lists, all leads, and the BD pipeline |
| LinkedIn Leads | AI-driven LinkedIn lead search and qualification |
| Google Places Leads | Location-based business lead finder with AI scoring |
| Deals | Deals list and kanban board by stage |
3. Add your first records
Open Companies and click the + button to create a company — give it a name and domain. Then open People and create a person with a name and email, linking them to your new company. These records are what campaigns and deals attach to. See Companies and People for the full picture.
4. Connect a sending email account
Campaigns send from real mailboxes you connect — Gmail, Outlook, or any SMTP provider. Go to Email Campaigns → Connect Email, pick your provider (server settings auto-fill), and enter your credentials.
Gmail note: use an App Password, not your normal password. This requires 2FA enabled on the Google account.
Click Test Connection to verify the credentials, then save. Details in Connected Emails.
5. Create and send a campaign
Open Email Campaigns and click Create Campaign:
- Give it a name and a Subject line.
- Write or paste your HTML template — the live preview updates as you type.
- Choose Recipients — People, Companies, or a lead list.
- Pick your account in the Send From dropdown.
- Click Preview to see the merged email for a sample recipient.
- Click Send.
The campaign moves from DRAFT to SENDING to SENT, with live sent/failed counts. Full editor reference in Email Campaigns.
6. Check Campaign Logs
Every individual send is logged. Open Campaign Logs to see one row per recipient: status (SENT or FAILED), timestamp, sender, subject, and the error message if something failed. See Campaign Logs.
7. Try the AI assistant
Open the chat panel (top-right) and type a plain-English command like "create a company called Acme" or "find all deals closing this month". The assistant searches, creates, and updates records for you. More in AI assistant.
